Representatives Visit Creque's Greenhouse
Northwest Ohio's Greenhouse Nursery industry, as represented by the Maumee Valley Growers (MVG), has been part of the Northwest Ohio Economic Research Collaborative since its inception. On Thursday, May 25, 2006, representatives from Ohio U.S. Senator Mike DeWine's office, members of the Maumee Valley Growers Advisory Board, and representatives from the US Department of Agriculture, accompanied by Dr. Neil Reid, Interim Director of UAC, and Dr. Frank Calzonetti, Vice Provost for Research and Economic Development in UT's Office of Research, visited one of MVG's members, Creque's Greenhouse in Sylvania.
