UpTown/Warehouse District Community Planning
The Urban Affairs Center is pleased to support efforts to create more vibrant and successful
mix-used urban neighborhoods in or near Downtown Toledo. The UpTown/Warehouse District Community
Planning Process is a community based planning effort led by businesses, residents,
and other stakeholders of the two neighborhoods. It is a joint project of The UpTown
Association and The Toledo Warehouse District Association. The planning process kicked-off in the
Summer of 2005 with a presentation and community listening session facilitated by Doug Farr of
Farr Associates of Chicago, Illinois.
To join the planning effort, or to get more information about this planning project, please contact Marty Lahey, UpTown Association, mlahey@manhattanstoledo.com. Contact Marty if you would like to be added to the Planning Committee. Or contact Kathy Steingraber, The Toledo Warehouse District Association, kathattwda@aol.com.
