The 2003 American Community Survey
The US Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS) provides demographic, social, economic, and housing profile data for over 800 geographical areas. As quoted from the ACS web site,
The American Community Survey is a new nationwide survey designed to provide communities a fresh look at how they are changing. It will replace the long form in future censuses and is a critical element in the Census Bureau’s reengineered 2010 census plan.
The ACS also offers multi-year profiles and ranking tables.
